ASF seizes 2.5kg heroin at BKIA

PESHAWAR: The Airport Security Force (ASF) has recovered 2.5kg heroin from the luggage of a Doha-bound passenger at Bacha Khan International Airport Peshawar.

The ASF officials said the passenger wanted to smuggle the counter band to Dubai but was nabbed after his luggage was checked on suspicion.  In total the passenger was carrying 2,255gm of heroin in hidden cavities of his bag that worth millions of rupees in foreign market. The passenger intending to board on a foreign airline service was shifted to ASF lockup for further interrogation.
