Passengers demand shuttle service at Wagha Border

LAHORE: Passengers travelling to India via Wagha Border expressed satisfaction over customs’ clearance process, however, most of who contacted, complained that they have to cover a long distance on foot to reach the Passengers Facilitation Centre (PFC).

Talking to Customs Today, passengers said that they have to walk almost two Kilometer, carrying the luggage and children before getting customs office.

The customs officials, when contacted, said that security of people whether belongs to India or Pakistan, is the top priority for customs.

Travelers said that Pakistan Customs provided them supportive atmosphere which should be appreciated vis-a-vis they demanded shuttle service to unload passengers near PFC.
