LAHORE: Passengers using the Allama Iqbal International Airport have urged the Customs authorities to install Customs Desk at the airport.

Talking with Customs Today they said that the desk will help the passengers to understand the quantity which they can keep with them and the goods and articles which they can take along with them duty free.

They were of the view that such desk will also help the passenger to know about the allowed quantity of currency they can take abroad.  The passengers suggested that there must be written instructions for the passengers to get rid of any unusual inconvenience.

They said that the government has installed Customs Counters at all the airports but Lahore airport is working without the facility putting the passengers to face hardships.

It is necessary to mention here that recently a separate Customs Collectorate is established at Allama Iqbal International Airport.
