Passing out ceremony of newly recruited Customs officers to be held today

KARACHI: A passing out parade of the newly recruited support staff of the Pakistan Customs Service will be held on Friday (today) at Customs House.

After the successful completion of the specialized training program (academic and on job training) at Director General Training and Research (DGTR), the passing out parade of the staff will be held at the Old Customs House adjoined to Karachi Port Trust (KPT) Building, Eduljee Dinshaw Road.

Sources told Customs Today that up to 500 officials have successfully completed their academic and on job training. The sources further said that the successful candidates include 150 Customs Preventive officers and inspectors, more than 90 Customs valuation officers and appraisers. On the other hand, 200 sepoys have also completed their training at the DGTR.

Member Human Resource Management (HRM) of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Rozi Khan Burki will be the chief guest on the occasion and he will address the gathering. He will also deliver certificates among the customs officer and staff on the successful completion of their specialized training program of academic as well as on job training.
