PCDMA announces election schedule for Executive Committee

KARACHI: The annual elections of the members of Executive Committee of Pakistan Chemicals & Dyes Merchants’ Association (PCDMA) for the year 2014-15 would be held on September 25, 2014.

According to the elections schedule, the elections would be held at Karachi, Lahore and Faisalabad between 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on nine seats, released by the association.

The polling venues at Karachi would be the association head office Rambharti Street Jodia Bazar. At Lahore northern office S-38-R-10/23, Barkat Ali Khan Centre Circular Road, Whereas, at Faisalabad branch office located at Store Shop 8 Sitara Market Maqbool road Road as per sechedule, duly approved by the Executive Committee of the Association in its meeting.

As per rule 14 of Trade Organisation rules 2013, PCDMA Executive Committee in its meeting approved Election Commission comprising of three members including Muhammad Rafique M/s Rafique & Company Convenor; Muhammad Jahangir M/s Al-Khursheed Shippers Jt-Convener and Abid Aslam M/s Abid Chemical Co. Member. The last date for receiving changes of names of authorized representatives in voters list, if so desired, will be July 17, 2014 till 4:00 pm.

Moreover, provisional voter list of all members eligible to vote will be displayed on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at 10:00 am. Last date for receiving objections to the entries in the provisional list of voters will be Saturday, August 02, 2014 till 4:00 pm. Secretary General will intimate action on the objections, if any till 4:00 pm on Friday, August 08, 2014, association added.
