LAHORE: The Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP), in its 42nd meeting, has approved seven development schemes worth Rs5578.702 million for various sectors.
Planning & Development (P&D) Board Punjab Chairman Muhammad Irfan Elahi presided over the meeting, while P&D Provincial Secretary Waseem Ajmal Chaudhry, P&D Board members and other senior representatives of the relevant provincial departments were also present there.
According to the Board spokesman, the approved development schemes included master planning, architectural, structural design and infrastructure of new development schemes of sports sector (revised) (PC-II) at the cost of Rs146.111 million, upgradation of radiology/specialties departments in Services Hospital, Lahore at the cost of Rs2108.805 million, IT Centric Interventions & Smart Monitoring Under Punjab Public Management Reforms Program (PPMPR) at the cost of Rs1899.708 million, Construction of metalled road from Chitri to Sakhi Bhore Bukhsh via Khan Khund length 32 km District Rajanpur at the cost of Rs. 430.880 million, construction of metalled road from Gagan Thal Gujari Thokh length 20 km District DG Khan at the cost of Rs277.877 million, construction of metalled road from Ranghan Post to Sirthok via Mut Chandia length 25 km, District DG Khan at the cost of Rs. 274.004 million and construction of metalled road from Rahim Kothi to Kharar Buzdar via Mobarki Top length 40 km District DG Khan at the cost of Rs441.317 million.
