India is on fast track to sabotage peace in Pakistan as it has started a multi-prong policy to spoil any government effort to gain economic stability. It has showered funds among the members of fifth column to create controversy about Kalabagh Dam and put the country on persistent energy crisis. In Balochistan, it has distributed huge money among disgruntled elements to continue insurgency in the province which is the integral part of Pakistan. It has penetrated its elements in human rights organisations, media houses and non-government organisations to carry out its agenda to weaken Pakistan. Now it is the first time that the Pakistan Army has accused Indian Research and Analysis Wing of whipping up terrorism in Pakistan. Unfortunately, the world media also twisted this complaint, saying the army criticism will increase tension between the two countries.
Earlier, the corps commanders met in GHQ in Rawalpindi and reviewed the offensive against militants in the tribal areas and other security issues. According to an army statement, the meeting took serious notice of RAW’s involvement in whipping up terrorism in Pakistan. The army has always shown restraint to express its anger over involvement of Indian agencies in the internal affairs of Pakistan. In contrast, India has never tired of showing its maliciousness against Pakistan at any time and at any forum in the world. The Pakistani government has presented the proof of India’s involvement in Balochistan and about those fighting against the state. India is also involved in law and order in Karachi.
Pakistan has recently signed agreements worth $46 billion with China to launch development projects in the country and India has now set up a special cell in its intelligence agency to sabotage the proposed economic corridor between Pakistan and China. The corps commanders meeting unanimously observed that India was providing all kinds of support to Pakistan’s enemies, whether they are Taliban in the tribal areas, mafias in Karachi or insurgents in Balochistan. India has so far rejected all kinds of initiatives by Pakistan to normalise relations between the two countries. Pakistan is an emerging economy at the moment and it does not afford any kind of disturbance, but desire for peace should not be considered as weakness and that is the message the government is trying to deliver to India.
The world is going ahead on the road of economic stability and prosperity, but Indian leadership still lives in fool’s paradise and has refused to learn anything from its past mistakes.
