LONDON: Pegatron Technology has announced consolidated revenues of NT$93.35 billion (US$2.89 billion) for June, growing 40.27% on month and 33.34% on year, and NT$224.98 billion for the second quarter, down 12.24% sequentially and 3.2% on year. The company’s first-half consolidated revenues were NT$481.5 billion, down 2.26% on year.

Pegatron said the second quarter will mark the bottom of its 2016 operations. Because of weak demand visibility, Pegatron reduced its shipment forecast for the second quarter and expected revenues to suffer an on-year decline. However, with clients aggressively pulling in orders in June, the company’s performance in the month was better than expected. Pegatron expects 2016 revenues to remain above NT$1 trillion.
