Karachi: People paying tax after decrease in registration fee of vehicles

KARACHI: A marginable increase is being witness in registration of vehicles after decrease in registration fee of vehicles. These views were expressed by a section officer of the Excise and Taxation Department Ismail Joyo. He said that after the announcement, a large number of people are paying taxes, these people prefer to drive vehicles on open letters in the past .

After decrease in registration fee people are gearing up to transfer their vehicle on their own name also. On the other hands, the Excise Department is collecting reasonable amount in the shape of transfer fee and registration fee.

Ismial Joyo further stated that the department is launching a three-day campaign to pursue public to pay tax to avoid any lawful action against them in the future. The campaign will start from Monday.
