ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue has restored performance allowance (equivalent to 100 per cent of basic pay) in respect 86 Pakistan Customs Service officers of BS-16.
Modifying its earlier Notification No 2899-C-III/2015, dated 10.12.2015, FBR restored the performance allowance of 3 Appraisers, 13 Deputy Superintendents, 3 Examiners, 46 Inspectors, 1 IPS, 2 Intelligence Officers, 1 Office Superintendent, 4 Preventive Officers, 4 Principal Appraisers, 4 Senior Intelligence Officers, 2 Valuation Officers and one Deputy Assistant Chemical Examier, with effect from September 9.
According to the notification, the officials whose performance allowance was discontinued on account of imposition of minor or major penalty, will not be restored, until they have gone through fresh process of selection for grant of performance allowance.
