ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue has restored performance allowance of four Pakistan Customs Service officers of BS-16.
The performance allowance, equivalent to 100 per cent of basic pay, was granted to the officers including, Lahore LTU Superintendent Mian Muhammad Zaheer, Port Qasim Collectorate Appraiser Tariq Aziz, Islamabad Post Clearance Audit Appraiser Waqar Ahmad Bangash and Gwadar Customs Principal Appraiser Sajid Ali Bhutto, on completion of the declaration of assets.
According to the notification, those officials whose performance allowance was discontinue on account of imposition of minor or major penalty, besides shortfall of declaration of assets, will not be restored until they have gone through fresh process of selection for grant of performance allowance.
