TOKYO: A new Persona 5 trailer showed the first gameplay sequence of the highly anticipated role playing, currently in development for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. Now some more gameplay features have been detailed.
It’s been confirmed that the game’s main character will move into a coffee shop owned by acquaintances of his family at the beginning of the new school year. While the game will begin in Shibuya, many of the events will actually take place in Tokyo.
Last week’s trailer also shown one of the game’s dungeons, which will come with a variety of gimmicks. Famitsu confirmed that the dungeon shown in the trailer isn’t a randomly generated one but random elements might still make an appearance in the game.
Lastly, it’s been confirmed that some sort of Social Link feature is going to be included in the new game. Unfortunately we don’t know how they will work and how they will influence the actual gameplay.
Persona 5 will be released on a yet to be confirmed release date on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
