Pomareda went on to add that products such as quinoa, maca and kiwicha can enter the Korean market, which operates a sector that is quite interested in their intellectual development and invigorating properties.

Fishing products such as eel, cuttlefish, prawns and mollusks are being acquired in large quantities by this country. Likewise, coffee, table grapes and organic bananas are being increasingly consumed by the Korean population.

The Ambassador thinks that organic chocolate and mangoes’ potential in Korea might be as significant as that of the fine fiber industry (alpaca, vicuna). Pomareda will take part in the Road Show Asia 2015 organized by Peru in Seoul. The event was previously held in Tokyo, Japan and will also take place in Beijing, China on September 11.
