Peshawar AFU receives Rs8.06m all duty taxes during 15 days

ISLAMABAD: The Air Freight Unit Peshawar earned Rs8.06million all duty taxes and surcharges during the initial 15 days of February Financial Year 2016-17.

During above said period, the AFU generated Rs2.56million Customs Duty and collected Rs0.36million miscellaneous surcharges. During the same period, the AFU earned Rs0.1million Redemption Duty on imports.

During 1st to 15th of February FY2016-17, the AFU received Rs2.34million Sales Tax whereas the AFU collected Rs0.37million Sales Tax on Imported items and the AFU also got Rs2.30million Additional Income Tax during above said period.

Under the supervision of Collector MCC Peshawar, the AFU is performing very well and hopeful that it will not only meet its assigned target but also surpass the given revenue collection target for February FY2016-17.
