Peshawar ANF arrests six drug peddlers, recovers 86kg charas, 3.6kg opium

PESHAWAR: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has arrested six persons in three separate crackdowns and recovered 86 kilogram charas and 3.6 kg opium.

According to ANF Peshawar Spokesman Said Ahmad, two persons on board named Umair Masih and Nasir Hanif, residents of Mardan and Door Shah Khan, a resident of Orakzai Agency, were arrested from Gulshanabad Chowk, Kohat City and recovered 9.8 Kg charas from their  possession. As per reports, the accused were involved in carrying drugs to other cities.

The ANF Peshawar while acting on a tip-off, intercepted a Toyota van near Kohat Bus Stand, Kohat Road, Peshawar and recovered 21.25 Kg charas concealed in improvised cavities of the vehicle. As per preliminary reports, the drug was intended to be transported to Punjab for local consumption.

ANF Peshawar during routine checking on pursuance of information seized an unattended Bedford Truck parked near Khan Amir Lucky Hotel, Indus Highway, Kohat.

During search of the truck, 36 Kg charas was found concealed in secret cavities in roof cabin of the truck. As per reports, drug was placed for handing over to another narcotics gang.
