Peshawar ANF recovers huge quantity of narcotics, arrest three persons

PESHAWAR: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Peshawar arrested three persons in separate raids and recovered one kilogram heroine, one kilogram hashish and 100 capsules at Bacha Khan International Airport.

In the first crackdown, the ANF stopped a car near PSO Pump, Faisal Movers Bus Stand, Peshawar city, and recovered one kilogram heroin from the car.

A person on board named Moeen-ud-Din, who is a resident of Khyber Agency, was also taken into custody.  As per initial information, he was heading towards Chakwal for delivery of heroin.

In another operation, ANF Peshawar road check team intercepted a Suzuki Mehran car near New Toll Plaza, Kohat and recovered 12 kilograms of hashish hidden in fuel tank of the car. A person named Eidat Khan, resident of Orakzai Agency was also taken into custody.

In another crackdown Anti Narcotics Force arrested Dubai bound passenger and recovered 100 capsules from his possession on Friday. All cases have been registered at ANF Police Stations and further investigations are underway.
