Peshawar ASO confiscates Rs260m NDP goods & vehicles till January 25

PESHAWAR: The Anti Smuggling Organization of Custom Collectorate confiscated smuggled goods worth of Rs260 million in last one month up to January 25 which include NCP vehicles, mobile oils, Arms, tyre-tube auto parts and electronic goods.

Sources told Customs Today that the number of goods include 69 vehicle U/S 157 having value Rs74,600000, 31 vehicle U/S 16 8703 having value Rs49650000, cloth of foreign origin 5407 yards having value Rs59,469,444, poppy seeds 802 kilogram, currency of Rs10.7 million, Rs5 million arms and ammunition, food grains Rs10 million, tyres and tubes of Rs3461250 , tea 13236 kilogram, auto parts of Rs130 million, liquor 76 bottles, timber of supreme quality, petrol 2710 liters, diesel 2610 liters, mobile oils 159 liters, greece 2710 buckets, gold silver 7113  kilogram, cigrattes  foreign origin  2402  sticks, electronic goods worth of Rs1.9 million.

Besides this the cCllectorate confiscated carpets worth thousands of rupees, antiques of Rs10000, pirated CDs/DVD worth of Rs137000, and scrap of Rs30,000, Blankets worth of 150000 rupees, Toys 9503 in numbers, medicine of 653325 rupees dinner set NDP, Pan Parrag, Gutka, toiletries, cooking oil, furniture generators, mobile phones, raw materials, automobiles, SKD, CKD stiched cloths, automobiles and other different goods.

The custom anti-smuggling unit has intensified its crackdown against illegal contrabands and so far have seized worth millions of rupees. Beside these items several attempt at Bacha Khan International Airport also foiled by the authorities.
