Peshawar BWH earns Rs86.36m as all duties & taxes during 15 days of September

PESHAWAR: The Customs Bonded Ware House (BWH) Peshawar generated Rs86.36million of all duties and taxes from 1st to 15th of September Financial Year (FY) 2017-18.

According to details given by sources of Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Peshawar that, during above said period, the BWH collected Rs29.05million as Customs Duty (CD) whereas it did Rs0.14million of Redemption Duty (RD) on Imports.
The sources told CT that, during initial 15 days of September FY17-18, the BWH Peshawar received Rs0.29million of With Holding (WH) Surcharge while it did Rs4.52million as Sales Tax (ST). The BWH earned Rs40.49million of ST VM on palm oil.
The sources said the BWH generated Rs8.87million as Additional Income Tax (AIT) while the said customs station did Rs3.0million of Federal Excise Duty (FED) on Imports during initial 15 days of September FY17-18.
