Peshawar BWH receives Rs42.62m as all duties & taxes during 15 days of August

PESHAWAR: The Bonded Ware House (BWH) of Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Peshawar generated Rs42.62million under the head of All Duties and Taxes during the initial 15 days of August Financial Year (FY) 2017-18.

According to details given by sources of MCC Peshawar that, during first 15 days of August FY17-18, the BWH received Rs26.59million while it did Rs0.52million under the head of Redemption Duty (RD) and the BWH collected Rs1.16million under the head of Sales Tax (ST).
The sources told CT that, during above said period, the BWH earned Rs36.81million under the head of ST VM Palm oil whereas it did Rs5.38million and the BWH collected Rs2.25million under the head of Federal Excise Duty on 1/kg per kg.
