Peshawar BWH receives Rs72.42m of all duty & taxes during 15 days of July

PESHAWAR: The Bonded Warehouse (BWH), Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Peshawar, earned Rs72.42million of All Duty and Taxes during the 1st to 15th of July Financial Year FY2017-18.

According to details given by Fazle Samad, Additional Collector MCC Peshawar, the BWH generated Rs17.78million of Customs Duty (CD) during above said period whereas it collected Rs0.57million of Redemption Duty (RD) during the initial 15 days of July FY2017-18.
During abovementioned period, the BWH received Rs1.24million of Sales Tax while BWH Peshawar did Rs47.48million of ST VM palm oil. Additional Collector told CT that during the 1st to 15th of July 2017-18, the BWH earned Rs1.85million of Additional Income Tax (AIT). During said period, the BWH got Rs3.50million of Federal Excise Duty on Imports.
During corresponding Financial Year 2016-17, the BWH received Rs2885.95million of all duty and taxes and the BWH MCC Peshawar collected Rs2958.38million of revenue under the head of all duty and taxes during FY2015-16.
