Peshawar car cell impounds 20 non-duty paid vehicles in September

ISLAMABAD:The Peshawar Model Customs Collctorate car cell impounded 20 non-duty paid vehicles worth Rs 24.650 million during September 2016.

The performance of the car cell was appreciable, as the cell impounded different types of vehicles, included those with fake documented in the jurisdiction of Customs Collectorate Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Customs sources said that car cell is using latest technology as lap-tops, connectivity with excise and taxation department, and strict vigilance by preventive division to discourage the trends of tax evasion.

Non-duty vehicles is a serious issue and government is taking steps to resolve it, , it must be stop to built better liaison among custom and other departments.

Sources adding that in the impounded vehicle included Toyota Vitz 2001 model value Rs800,000 , Toyota Corolla-G 2004 value Rs 1.5 million , Suzuki jiminy jeep 1991 value Rs800,000.

Toyota Corolla motor car 1998 value Rs800,000, Toyota vitz motor model 2000 value Rs 800,000, Hino truck 1983 value Rs2.5 million, Toyota Hilux surf 2001 value Rs2.5 million, Yamaha motor cycle value 150,000, Suzuki Pickup 1998 value Rs700,000, Toyota Corolla Axio X value 1.6 million.

Berang motor cycle loader 2016 value Rs300,000, Hino truck 1994 value 2.2 million, Toyota Hiace van 2001 value Rs1.6 million, Toyota starter car 2000 value Rs800,000, Toyota Fielder car 2005 value Rs 1.6 million.

Toyota Corolla 2006 value 1.6 million, Toyota vitz 2002 value Rs800,000, Toyota Corolla 2005 value Rs1.5 million, Suzuki Alto motor car 2001 value Rs600,000 and Suzuki Corolla X motor car seized under value of Rs1.5 million.
