Peshawar Customs collects Rs1890.05m during February

PESHAWAR: Collectorate Customs collected Rs1890.05 million in February 2020 against the target of 1609 of February 2019 with difference of Rs280.20 million as surplus amount.

According to statistics of Collectorate the house collected Rs647.78 million against Rs680.18 million with difference of minus Rs32.40 million while the difference in percentage was minus 4.76 percent.

In head of sale tax on imports the Collectorate collected Rs811.9 million against precious year of February Rs451.90 million having difference of Rs359.89 million while difference in percentage was 79.66 percent.

In head of sale tax on levied as Federal Excise Duty vat palm oil the collection figure was recorded Rs6.22 million against target of Rs77.93 million with difference of minus 71.71 percent while difference in percentage was recorded minus 92.02 percent.

In head of sale tax value addition on commercial importers the house collected Rs80.44 million against target of Rs74.30 million with difference of Rs6.14 million while the difference in this collection was 8.26 percent.

In head of federal excise duty on imports the house collected Rs6.37 million against the target of Rs14.74 million having difference of minus 8.37 percent while difference in percentage was minus 56.78 percent.

Under the head of withholding tax the house collected Rs337.34 million against target of Rs310.80 million while the difference in rupees was plus 26.54 while the difference in percentage was 8.54 percent.
