Peshawar Customs collects Rs3610.61m revenue during H1 of FY206-17

ISLAMABAD: Peshawar Customs Collectorate, Torkham station collected revenue Rs3610.61 million in head of all duty and taxes during first half (July to December) of financial year (FY) 2016-17.

According to details, during first half of FY2016-17 the customs collected revenue Rs1228.77 million under head of customs duty and Rs54.94 million under head of miscellaneous duty surcharges.

Sources told Customs Today that during above mentioned period the customs collected revenue Rs5.36 million in head of Redemption Duty on imports and Rs35.50 million in head of Export Development Surcharge adding that Torkham station collected total customs duty Rs1324.57 million.

The Customs collected revenue Rs711.51 million under head of sales tax, Rs104.63 million under head of sales tax on imports, Rs1056.80 million under head of additional income tax and Rs413.10 million under head of additional income tax on exports during the above said period.
