Peshawar Customs collects Rs517.47m in 15 days

ISLAMABAD: Model Customs Collectorate Peshawar collected revenue Rs 517.47 million during first 15 days of January 2017 in head of all duty and taxes, sales tax, additional income tax and federal excise duty on Imports.

According to details, during above said period the Peshawar Collectorate showed exceptional performance and collected revenue Rs 173.81 million under head of customs duty (CD) as for as Rs 177.06 million under head of sales tax (ST).

Sources told Customs Today that the Collectorate earned revenue Rs 162.35 million under head of total additional income tax (AIT) as for as the Collectorate collected revenue Rs 4.25 million under head of federal excise duty (FED) on imported items.

The Peshawar Collectorate is making use of every source to achieve the assigned revenue target for the 3rd quarter of financial year (FY) 2016.17.
