Peshawar Customs receives Rs202.78m extra all duty & taxes during May FY2016-17

PESHAWAR: Model Customs Collectorate Peshawar collected extra revenue of Rs202.78million gross and Rs202.63million net All Duty and Taxes during May of Financial Year 2016-17 during the same period of corresponding FY2015-16.

The strike of the truckers at Karachi for 10 days of May FY16-17 made a trouble for MCC Peshawar for collection of revenue during the month of May 16-17 whereas the collectorate surpassed the collection of all duty taxes against the same period of corresponding Financial Year 2015-16.
During May 16-17, the collectorate of Peshawar generated Rs1686.51million gross revenue of All Duty Taxes while it did Rs1670.86million net revenue collection during the same period.
