KARACHI: The Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation, Peshawar, has recovered fine quality hashish worth Rs 80 million during a crackdown, while in another action the customs team seized 150 computer hard disk.
Sources informed Customs Today that Director Customs Intelligence Mohammad Asghar received information that a huge quantity of hashish is being smuggled outside Peshawar city. The Customs team enhanced their surveillance in the area and intercepted a bus near Larri Ada and recovered 1,400 kilogram of hashish from the hidden parts of the bus.
Sources said that during another action customs authorities recovered 150 hard-disks of 160GB. Customs authorities registered separate cases of smuggling and forwarded the same to customs adjudications.
