Peshawar Customs recovers narcotics worth Rs 3.2m

PESHAWAR: A team of Customs Intelligence arrested a smuggler near Rashakai Toll Plaza and recovered narcotics worth Rs 3 million from him.

Taking to Customs Today, Intelligence Officer Khawaja Mohammad Iqbal said that a team was constituted under his supervision to nab the suspects. The accuse sped up but the ANF and custom officers caught him a few kilometers away. However, the smuggler left his vehicle and escaped from the scene.

After searching the hidden cavities of the car, the ANF and custom intelligence workers recovered charas worth Rs 3.2 million. The vehicle was shifted to nearby police station while the force took narcotics in their possession.
