Peshawar Customs seizes smuggled cigarettes worth Rs154.90m in 1Q FY-2025-26

PESHAWAR: Collectorate of Customs Enforcement Peshawar seized 18.275 million sticks of smuggled cigarettes worth Rs154.90 million during the first three months of fiscal year 2025–26, reflecting a 60% increase in value compared to the same period last year.

During the same period of last year, the department confiscated 14.114 million sticks valued at Rs97.04 million, said a news release.
