PESHAWAR: The Customs Collectorate of Peshawar surpassed revenue collection target of first quarter ended September 30.
The Collectorate, under the leadership of Collector Gul Rehman, collected an amount of Rs1.828 billion as against the assigned target of custom duty amounting to Rs1.803 billion.
The Collectorate’s net all duty / taxes collection is Rs5.077 billion as against FBR assigned target of Rs4.416 billion. It is pertinent to mention that during the corresponding period of last year (2016-17), custom duty to the tune of Rs1.592 billion was collected and an amount of Rs4.062 billion was collected as overall duty and taxes.
