The event, listed as Auction Schedule No. 02/2025-26, will take place on August 26, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Custom House, Peshawar. Vehicles Available for Auction

The upcoming auction features a diverse range of vehicles, including luxury cars, hybrid sedans, small passenger cars, jeeps, coasters, and motorcycles. Many of these vehicles have been seized due to customs violations and are now ready for legal disposal through public bidding.

Key Highlights – Peshawar Warehouses

A total of 25 vehicles from Peshawar’s State Warehouse (Godown-E) are up for auction, including:

• Toyota Prius models (2010, 2012, 2009) – some in hybrid and plug-in variants.

• Toyota Corolla Axio/Fielder (2008, 2006, 2001, 1995) – several requiring repair or with missing parts.

* Honda Civic Hybrid (2005), Toyota Crown Majesta (2004, 2007), and Toyota Crown Hybrid (2013).

• Other notable listings include Daihatsu Mira (2012, 2015), Toyota Vitz (2004), Toyota Rush Jeep (2006), and a Suzuki Pick Up (1998).

Additionally, a 40-foot trailer with container (2010) is also being offered, making this auction particularly attractive for transport and logistics businesses.

Nowshera, Mardan & Abbottabad Listings

Beyond Peshawar, the auction will also feature vehicles from customs warehouses in Nowshera, Mardan, and Abbottabad.

• Nowshera: A Toyota Fielder (2014) and a Daihatsu Mira (2017).

• Mardan: A Toyota Vitz (2011), Toyota Fielder (2002), and a Motor Bike (1998).

• Abbottabad: A Toyota Corolla Axio ‘G’ (2007).

Public Participation and Guidelines

The customs department encourages interested buyers, including dealers, transporters, and private individuals, to participate. As per the guidelines, all vehicles will be sold in their present condition, with bidders advised to inspect them thoroughly before bidding.

The auction will follow government procedures to ensure transparency, with payment terms clearly defined by the Collectorate of Customs. Successful bidders will be required to complete payment and transfer formalities within the specified timeframe to secure ownership.

Potential for Bargain Deals

Given the wide range of vehicles—from luxury sedans to damaged yet repairable cars—industry insiders expect strong participation from auto dealers and resellers. Many see this as an opportunity to acquire vehicles at competitive prices for resale or parts recovery.

Final Word

The August 26 auction represents one of the largest vehicle disposal events by the customs department this year, signaling ongoing efforts to clear impounded assets while generating significant revenue for the national exchequer.
