Peshawar Customs to celebrate World Customs Day with full enthusiasm

PESHAWAR:  Modal Custom Collectorate decided to celebrate World Customs Day with full enthusiasm in which shields and certificate would be distributed among the retired and active employees of the department.

Collector Peshawar Gul Rahman has directed to constitute a committee under the supervision of Deputy Collector anti-smuggling division Peshawar Najeeb Arjumand. The committee members would comprised of Superintend Amanullah, Nasir Bukhari, Inspector Naeem Bukhari, Abdul Rahim, Sadiq Akbar, Sohail Ahmad Shehzad and Zia-ur-Rahman.

World Customs Day is celebrated across the world on January 26 which aimed to highlight the importance of custom department. The authorities will distribute shields and certificates among the employees who demonstrated excellent performance.

On this occasion all confiscated and seized items related to narcotics and wines would be set on fire. The event will grace by officials of FBR and anti smuggling division.
