Peshawar Customs to hold auction of NDP vehicles today

PESHAWAR: Collectorate of Customs will hold auction of non-duty paid vehicles which were impounded by customs anti-smuggling squads during various operations today.

Sources told Customs Today, that auction will be held at 10 a.m. Different parties will take part in the auction which will held on “as is where is basis”.

The vehicles will be offered for auction includes Mercedez Benz (bullet proof), Honda Accord, Mercedez Benz truck,  Toyota Land Cruiser Model 1989, Toyota 4×2 Pickup Model 1988, Mitsubishi Pajero Model 1989, Toyota Premio Motor Car Model 2006, Suzuki Pickup Model 1991, Toyota Fielder M/car Model 2001, 8 seater Electric Shuttle buses, Toyota Rush Jeep Model 2006, Toyota  Motor Car (SE.Saloon) Model 2000, Hino Dumper (10 wheeler) Model 1996, Nisan Truck Model 2003, Daewoo Car Model 1992, VXR Car Model 2001, and Toyota Corolla car Model 2007 and other vehicles.

Sources told that interested bidders will have to bring their original CNIC and other related documents. Sources also told that Customs Collectorate will earn handsome revenue through auction of these non duty paid vehicles which will help a lot to achieve revenue collection target assigned by Federal Board of Revenue for current Fiscal Year of 2017-18.
