Peshawar Customs withdraws recovery notice against M/s National Arms Co

PESHAWAR: Collectorate of Customs Preventive)Peshawar Recovery has withdrawn duty tax recovery notice against M/s National Arms Co. and asked different Customs Collectorates to clear their shipment in case of shipment.

According to details, Assistant Collector Customs Preventive Peshawar Recovery Cell has issued tax notices to M/s National Arms Co. for the recovery of duty and taxes of Rs.93052/on import shipment of goods.

M/s National Arms Co. located in the Hashtnagri G.T Road Peshawar for the recovery of outstanding duty tax amount of Rs.93052/ and penalty of default surcharge under Sales tax act 1990.

Assistant Collector Preventive Peshawar Recovery Cell issued sales taxes and penalty surcharges adjudged against M/s National Arms Co. vide assessment order no.28/01/2020.

The Federal Board of Revenue has initiated process of recovery by exercising their powers conferred by clause (a) of the sub section (1) of section 48 of the Sales tax Rules 2006 and requested Collector Customs (Appraisement) Lahore, Karachi, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Multan, Peshawar and Sabmbrial to deduct said amount from any owing money to the said M/s National Arms Co. having NTN 0501930014146 for the recovery of due taxes under the control of respective authorities.

The Collectorate Jamrud Road has withdrawn tax notice against M/s National Arms Co. vide SRO-450(1)2001 dated 18/06/2001 under Chapter –XI Part III (199)-II 2018-2019 of the Customs laws.
