Peshawar dry port earns Rs239.20m during 15 days of April

ISLAMABAD: The Customs Dry Port Peshawar collected Rs239.20million all duty and taxes during the 1st to 15th of April of Financial Year 2016-17.
According to Additional Deputy Collector Fazal-e-Samad, the Customs Dry Port collected Rs71.30million Customs Duty during 15 days of current month of April whereas the dry port collected Rs2.47million miscellaneous duty taxes and surcharges. The dry port received Rs9.47million Redemption Duty on imports.
He said the Peshawar Dry Port collected Rs96.68million Sales Tax whereas the dry port collected Rs16.62million Sales Tax on Imports.

The dry port earned Rs42.66million Additional Income Tax during the 1st to 15th of April FY2016-17. The Customs Dry Port Peshawar collected Rs523.08million All Duty Taxes during the month of March of Financial Year (FY) 2016-17. During March FY2016-17, the Customs Dry Port Peshawar generated Rs188.69million Customs Duty whereas the dry port earned Rs12.77million miscellaneous taxes and surcharges.
During March FY16-17, the dry port Peshawar received Rs26.74million Redemption Duty on Imports whereas the dry port earned Rs180.41million Sales Tax whereas the dry port collected Rs25.61million Sales Tax on Imports while the dry port Peshawar did Rs83.08million Additional Income Tax and the dry port got Rs5.71million Federal Excise Duty on Imports.
