Peshawar dry port receives Rs523.08m all duty taxes during March

ISLAMABAD: The Customs Dry Port Peshawar collected Rs523.08million All Duty Taxes during the month of March of Financial Year (FY) 2016-17.

According to Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Peshawar, during March FY2016-17 the Customs Dry Port Peshawar generated Rs188.69million Customs Duty whereas the dry port did Rs12.77million miscellaneous taxes and surcharges.

During above said period, the dry port Peshawar received Rs26.74million Redemption Duty on Imports whereas the dry port earned Rs180.41million Sales Tax.

During March, the dry port collected Rs25.61million Sales Tax on imports while the dry port Peshawar did Rs83.08million Additional Income Tax and the dry port got Rs5.71million Federal Excise Duty on Imports.
