Peshawar E&C torches narcotics worth Rs40m

PESHAWAR: Under the supervision of Ibrahim Khalil Yousafani Collector Enforcement Peshawar the Collectorate have destroyed more than Rs400 million smuggled goods in Azakhel.

The Collector Ibrahim Khalil Yousafani, talking with media said that smuggled goods were set on fire include alcohol, marijuana, opium, heroin, cigarettes, drugs, black tea dish receivers and jelly shampoos.

The Collector said that after destruction of contraband goods huge space is available in warehouses of Customs Peshawar and Hayatabad.

He also told that officials of anti narcotics force and Customs Intelligence and Investigation Peshawar were presented on the occasion.

It is necessary to mention here that after assuming the charge, Collector Ibrahim Khalil Yousafani has directed all anti-smuggling squads to adopt zero tolerance policy against smuggling. He directed that anyone who found involved in smuggling should be dealt as per law.
