Peshawar Enforcement seizes 19 NDP vehicles & smuggled goods worth Rs.197m

PESHAWAR: Collectorate of Customs Enforcement, Peshawar, seized 19 non-duty-paid (NDP) vehicles and smuggled goods worth approximately PKR 197 million during a series of anti-smuggling operations carried out over the last ten days.

 The seizures included 19 NDP vehicles such as Toyota Land Cruiser, Toyota Aqua, Toyota Vitz, Honda Vezel, Toyota Fielder, Honda Grace, Land Rover, and Jimny Jeep with a combined assessed value of around PKR 110 million, delivering a major setback to vehicle smuggling networks.

In addition, Customs Enforcement confiscated smuggled goods valued at approximately PKR 87.66 million, comprising silver bullion, fabrics, black tea, cigarettes, cigarette paper, medicines, and auto parts.

 These operations were conducted as part of sustained enforcement measures to curb smuggling, protect national revenue, and ensure effective border control.

The FBR reaffirms its commitment to continuing strict action against smuggling and illicit trade.n a major anti-smuggling operation, the Collectorate of Enforcement Quetta successfully seized nine (09) Non-Custom-Paid (NCP) vehicles along with smuggled goods with an estimated value of Rs121.6 million.

Earlier in a major anti-smuggling operation, the Collectorate of Enforcement Quetta successfully seized nine (09) Non-Custom-Paid (NCP) vehicles along with smuggled goods with an estimated value of Rs121.6 million.

The seized goods includes assorted brand of cigarettes, gutka, Chinese salt, and betel nuts.

The operation was carried out at Rakhni with the support of FC North and Loralai Police, following credible intelligence and directives for strict enforcement against NCP vehicles and smuggled goods.

All seized vehicles and goods have been taken into custody, and legal proceedings under the Customs Act, 1969 have been initiated. Further investigations are ongoing.
