PESHAWAR: In order to broaden tax net Federal Board of Revenue has decided to impose withholding tax up to Rs.10,000 on each residential house with area more than 10 marla.
Sources in Regional Tax Office Peshawar said that the decision will be implemented after upcoming financial budget 2015-2016. The tax will be collected in Excise and Taxation Department along with property tax at the same time Withholding tax will also be imposed on those persons who have annual income more than 0.4 million rupees and have a car of 1000CC holding tax.
