ISLAMABAD: The Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation (I&I) Peshawar earned Rs54.43millio through auctions, all duties and taxes during Financial Year 2016-17.
According to I&I, Directorate of I&I held first auction during the month of August 2016-17 and earned Rs27.28million all duties and taxes. From the said auction, I&I generated Rs20.88million Customs Duty (CD) whereas it did Rs5.85million Sales Tax (ST) and it received Rs0.55millions Federal Excise Duty on imports (FEDI).
The I&I held 2nd auction during the month of September and earned Rs4.79million through all duties and taxes. During said period, the I&I collected Rs3.38million CD, Rs1.35millions ST and Rs0.06million FEDI.
Third auction was held during October FY16-17 which earned Rs7.92million through duties and taxes. The I&I collected Rs6.78million CD and Rs1.14million ST. During the month of November, the 4th auction was held from which I&I earned Rs11.68million and it also earned Rs8.9million CD and collected Rs2.72million through ST.
The 5th auction of current financial year was held during the month of December FY16-17 from which I&I collected Rs2.76million through CD.
