Peshawar MCC assigns Rs2401m duties & taxes target for February

ISLAMABAD: The Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Peshawar has allocated a target for revenue collection of Rs2401.00million duties and taxes for February of Financial Year FY2016-17.

According to details told by Additional Deputy Collector Fazle Samad that the Board of Revenue has assigned some high targets to the customs staff for the rest of the months of FY2016-17. The FBR has set Rs585.00million Customs Duty target for the current month while it has assigned Rs554.00million Sales Tax target to the customs for February 2017.

ADC Fazle Samad told Customs Today that the Peshawar Collectorate has allocated target of Rs2300million Federal Excise Duty whereas the collectorate has assigned Rs1239.00million Additional Income Tax to the customs for February FY2016-17.

The ADC remarked that the MCC Peshawar is optimistic that it will surpass the revenue target assigned for the current month as the collectorate already showed good performance during the last month of FY2016-17.
