Peshawar police introduces SMS service for traffic rules awareness among people

PESHAWAR: Peshawar police have introduced sms service with the help of students for update the people about traffic rules. Peshawar police and Students of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) have come near to each other to felicitate masses of the province as they launched SMS service for to solve the people’s difficulties they faced during travelling on roads.

Police with the help of some young and energetic students of Peshawar have launched SMS service for getting updates on traffic issues from the traffic control in the city.

The masses of the city can get traffic updates immediately by just sending an SMS to Peshawar traffic police.

The SMS service has been launched to solve the people’s difficulties they faced during travelling on roads.

Syed Shahzad and Faizullah young students of Peshawar have developed the SMS alert system voluntarily.

The duo met IGP Nasir Khan Durrani and offered to build a system by which information about traffic flow and traffic jams would be shared with the masses immediately and people would be able to plan their journey according to those traffic updates.

The users would be sent a request to Peshawar traffic police through SMS and would receive traffic update instantly.

The people should type PT and sent it to 8333 from any network, the release said, adding they would receive updates about the traffic situation in Peshawar city.
