Petrol, diesel prices likely to go up by Rs5 per liter from July 1

ISLAMABAD: Petroleum product prices in Pakistan are expected to rise by up to Rs5 per liter starting July 1, sources said.

A carbon levy of Rs2.50 per liter will be imposed on petrol, diesel, and furnace oil from tomorrow. Additionally, the currency exchange rate difference will also be passed on to consumers.
