Petrol price likely to slash by Rs 5.26 per liter

ISLAMABAD: The price of petrol (Motor Spirit) is likely to reduce by Rs 5.26 per liter with effect from April 1.

According to the summary, Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has forwarded a price-revision summary to the quarters concerned for determining the prices of petroleum products for the next month.

The authority has suggested to decrease petrol price by Rs 5.26 per liter, bringing the MS price at Rs 82.81 per liter, while it proposed a slight increase of Rs 0.65 , Rs 0.13 and Rs 0.55  in rates of high speed diesel, superior kerosene oil and light diesel oil respectively.
