MULTAN: Punjab Food Authority (PFA) sealed 14 eateries in south Punjab over unhygienic conditions and the use of unhealthy ingredients in food items.
In a statement issued here on Friday, Director Operations South Punjab Muhammad Saeed Leghari said that the authority closed four food outlets in Multan and Dera Ghazi Khan each, two each in Bahawalpur and Layyah and one each in Muzaffargarh and Khanewal. The food points included school canteens, factories, water plants, bakeries and restaurants.
