RAWALPINDI: The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) has raided a factory making substandard soft drinks here and recovered huge quantity of fake and expired bottles.
According to PFA Director Bilal Abro, a team raided the factory in Morgah, arrested six persons and recovered about 189,000 substandard and expired bottles of different brands.The bottles were planned to be distributed in different areas of Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Jhelum, Murree and notheren Punjab during the holy month of Ramazan, he added. Abro said the factory had been sealed and a case registered against the accused.
