PFA seals oil factory, imposes fine on four food points

MULTAN: Punjab food authority (PFA) has sealed an oil factory, imposed fine of Rs 56,000 on four food points and issued warning to many eateries.

According to PFA spokesperson, the team raided in Khanewal area and sealed Naveed oil factory for preparing unhygienic oil.

The team also disposed-off 25 kg unhygienic sweets, 100 sachets of gutka, 100 kg colourful candies and 1.5 litre carbonated on the spot. Food safety teams of PFA have also served warning notices to various eateries for improving cleanliness.
