PFA serves notices on 13 hotels, restaurants

MULTAN: Punjab Food Authority (PFA) has served notices on 13 hotels and restaurants for improving quality and cleanliness there.

A team of Food officials led by PFA Deputy Director Ijaz Nawaz visited Gulgasht Colony, Chungi No-6, chungi No-9 and Gole Bagh areas and issued the notices. The deputy director said that ensuring availability of quality food to masses was their top priority. He said that an awareness campaign had been launched in first phase and notices were being issued to hotels, restaurants over not meeting the standard of quality food. He said that stern action would be taken over not improving the quality of food despite issuing notices.
