LAHORE: The Pakistan Furniture Council (PFC) has decided to train female wood workers without any charges to excel in the global market of the furniture industry.
In a statement, PFC Chief Executive Mian Kashif Ashfaq said the training programme aimed to encourage female furniture designers and producers to initiate and promote their own furniture businesses at local and international markets.
He said the PFC was taking all measures to promote furniture and associated products made in Pakistan at local and international level.
Mian Kashif urged to devise a comprehensive strategy to promote the industry on commercial basis.
