RAWALPINDI: The construction work of Shahbaz Sharif Sports Complex and Family Park has started.
The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) initiated designing of the project on the land of Civil Aviation. Building department has been handed over construction work of central gate, boundary wall, parking site and levelling of land in this project while PHA has been assigned the work for construction of cricket ground, pavilion, volley ball, basket ball and tennis court along with a modern family park.
PHA Director General (DG) Abid Malik while making confirmation with regard to the construction of family park said that the building department would complete its share of work and then PHA will initiate its work.
