MANILA: Philippines Bureau of Customs (BOC) confiscated fake products worth P500 million in a raid on warehouses in Marilao, Bulacan.
According to Neil Anthony Estrella, director of BOC Customs Intelligence and Investigation Service (CIIS), attacked its staff the warehouses 3M Compound along Ilang-Ilang St., Sta. Rosa II strength of mission orders signed by Customs Commissioner Nicanor Faeldon.
Violation of R.A. No. 8293, or more prominent Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines are the owner of such counterfeit products including tons ‘used clothing’.
Also included in counterfeit products seized by Customs, the boxes of shoes like Nike, Converse, Sanuk, Adidas, ladies’ shoes, fake bags and so on.
